She’s what the Norse Sagas call ‘the ancient witch within wood’ – the one who birthed our Universe – and she lives within YOU.
The wise women were revered
The perception of the wise ones changed
In the old days, the women who embodied this ancient, wise feminine presence were respected and honoured for their wisdom as midwives, healers, mystics, seers, herbalists, shamans and völvas (shamanic priestesses in the Norse tradition, who practiced the art of Seidr).
But as Christianity swept across Europe, the perception of these women changed. Instead of being revered, they started to be feared. And the Wise Ones became “witches.”
Yet the word witch comes from wicce—“wise one”—and from wit, which means to shape, alter, and bind.
So these wise women knew how to change the web of life, by binding, shaping and altering reality – through releasing the heavy energy of the past, and through spinning and weaving new consciousness into the future – and they did this through shamanic work, sacred ceremonies, song, shamanic journeying, and various healing practices.

As the witch craze swept through Europe, this ancient feminine wisdom was pushed underground, as it was no longer safe for women to practice this ancient knowledge.
Many of us, who’ve heard her call to awaken, have worked as midwives, priestesses, seers, mystics, shamans and wise women in previous lifetimes. And we’ve now come back, into this time-space-reality, to take our places and help humanity through this collective birthing process we are in right now.
To do that we have to go through various initiations, where we unlock our deep ancestral wisdom.
This takes courage, and a willingness to journey into the cauldron of the Ancient Mothers, where we awaken the feminine magic, power and wisdom that’s embedded in our bones and flowing through our veins – a powerful magic that is ours to embody!

Shamanic Energy Medicine & Seidr Magic Training
The training runs over two years: Year 1 is the Shamanic Practitioner Training & Year 2 is the Shamanic Master Practitioner and Seidr Magic Priestess Training.

Year 1: Shamanic Practitioner
This is an intense training in Shamanic Energy Medicine where you learn powerful shamanic tools such as Soul Retrieval, Shamanic Healing, Tree of Life Healing, Extraction Work, Ancestral Healing and Transformational NLP Linguistics.
It consists of online modules via Zoom, two online self-study courses, plus one magical module in Glastonbury, England, the heart chakra of the world.
Our next group starts in October 2027 (there’s also the option of doing the training fully online for your own personal development).

Year 2: Master and Seidr Magic
The Master Training is very intense and guides you deep into the feminine power, wisdom and magic found in Seidr (Norse Shamanism).
It takes you on a sacred initiation, leading to two certifications – as a Master Practitioner in Shamanic Energy Medicine, and as a Shamanic Seidr Magic Priestess .
It consists of online classes, and two in-person retreats in England, where you enter the magic of Seidr – journeying deeper than you’ve ever been before, awakening your inner Shamanic Witch Priestess – the one who embodies the power and magic of Seidr.

Step into a sacred circle
You’ll be stepping into a sacred circle of Shamanic Sisters, and you’ll be held in sacred space by the Teacher Team, who have all been trained to a very high standard by Cissi Williams.
Cissi is a Teacher in Shamanic Energy Medicine & Seidr Magic. She’s also an Osteopath, Naturopath, NLP Trainer and initiated as a Priestess of Freyja, Tradition Keeper of the Völva (Norse shamanism and magic). She’s the author of Your Heart Knows How to Heal You and the founder of the podcast Awaken Your Inner Wisdom.
